How to Find Us

Charnley House Care Home is conveniently situated on Albert Road in Hyde, within Tameside, Greater Manchester. Our location offers easy access for families and visitors from Hyde, Stockport, Manchester, and the surrounding towns. The home is just a short walk from Hyde town centre, with excellent public transport links and simple routes by car from both the north and south.

From the North

Take the M60 towards Stockport (South) and exit at Junction 24 for Denton. Follow signs for Hyde via Manchester Road (A57). Continue on the A57 for around 2 miles, then turn right onto Market Street following signs for Hyde town centre. From there, turn left onto Albert Road — Charnley House is located on the left-hand side and clearly signposted.

From the South

Head north on the A57 (Mottram Moor / Hyde Road) towards Hyde. After passing through Mottram-in-Longdendale, continue straight until you reach Hyde town centre. Turn left onto Market Street, then take the next right onto Albert Road. You’ll find Charnley House on the left-hand side, just a short distance from the town centre.

Parking Information

Visitors are welcome to use our on-site parking area, located directly outside the home for convenient access. Additional parking is available on Albert Road and nearby residential streets if required. We kindly ask that visitors park considerately and avoid blocking driveways or access routes.

Public Transport

By Train:
The nearest train station is Hyde Central, less than a 10-minute walk from Charnley House. Regular services run between Hyde, Manchester Piccadilly, and other local destinations.

By Bus:
Several local bus routes stop close to the home, including services from Stockport, Denton, Ashton-under-Lyne, and Manchester. The nearest stops are along Market Street and Manchester Road, both just a few minutes’ walk away.
