Established in 1969, Charnley House Care Home has been proudly providing high-quality residential care in Hyde, Tameside for over five decades. As one of the longest-running family-owned care homes in the area, we’re known for our friendly atmosphere, stability, and genuine commitment to our residents’ wellbeing. Mum was at Charnley House for nearly 5 years, before she died from Alzheimer’s last September. Many of the staff have been there a long time, which is a good sign, but like nearly all of them, the new staff were also highly professional, really pleasant and caring & obviously dedicated. Some staff went above and beyond with Mum & I felt they knew and valued Mum as she was, whereas I was always missing her as she had been. So thankyou, again, to the carers – you couldn’t pay them enough, but they deserve so much more.
My parents have been in Charnley house since February this year and I can’t thank them all enough for making this hard situation easier to deal with all the staff that have been involved with both my parents have been faultless I feel happy to leave them both when I go after a visit thanks to you all
